This was our first face to face meeting. Before the mentor finally came back in Hong Kong, we interacted through WeChat and arranged monthly online meeting to share our life experience. Also, the mentor was encouraging me all the way through the job hunting period. In the meeting, we mainly talked about my new intern job and also shared some recent progress as well as own stories with each other. My mentor was raised in Hong Kong and worked in Taiwan for almost 20 years so we have a really strong connection and there are a lot of topics we could talk about. Also, he is passionate about the activity in Chung Chi so I also share my final year project progress with him, which was quite surprising to him because it seems that there was no final year project required 30 years ago. Overall, the 2 hour lunch time was wonderful. We even planned to meet again soon in Chung Chi!
