CUHK’s Chung Chi College (CCC) held the grand launch of its 75th anniversary celebrations today (January 17), with the Chung Chi College 75th Anniversary Carnival and Kick-off Ceremony marking the beginning of a series of celebratory events. Nearly 4000 teachers, students, alumni and friends gathered to commemorate this significant milestone in the College’s history.

During the ceremony, the officiating guests beat drums in unison and chanted “Chung Chi College, a family so dear, in CUHK’s embrace, we hold it near” together, symbolising the unity between Chung Chi and the rest of CUHK, and expressing their wish for the College to carry forward its legacy and achieve new glory. Next, over 2,000 attendees sang the Chung Chi College anthem together, setting a record for the largest group performance of the song.
