F C Lo Greater Bay Area Study Tour 2025

 

Chung Chi College, Muse College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau are co-organizing the third “F C Lo Greater Bay Area Study Tour” this summer.

 

Teachers and students from these three institutions in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau will embark on an 11-day study tour focusing on cities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Through lectures, seminars, field trips, and visits to historical and cultural attractions, participants will gain insights into the latest developments in Hong Kong and other GBA cities, and explore opportunities for future advancement in the region.

 

All full-time undergraduate students of Chung Chi College are welcome to join. Details of the programme are as follows:

 

Tentative Schedule: 21-31 May, 2025 (11 days), including 5 days in Guangdong, 3.5 days in Hong Kong, and 2.5 days in Macau.

 

Programme Highlights:

  • Represent the College in visits to Muse College of CUHK (Shenzhen) and Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau, and host delegations from these colleges in Hong Kong.
  • Visit industrial development zones and free trade zones in the Greater Bay Area, renowned enterprises, and entrepreneurial bases to explore the latest technology and business environment.
  • Participate in lectures and seminars, and engage in direct exchanges with scholars, business, and industry professionals.
  • Stay at the campuses of Muse College of CUHK (Shenzhen), Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau, and Chung Chi College, and visit local historical sites, landscapes, and attractions.
  • Conduct group research projects, with written reports to be submitted after the programme.
  • Eligible students can enroll to the College upper-year General Education course GECC3130 “Exploration and Discovery” (E&D, 3 credits).

 

Language: Proficiency in Chinese and Putonghua

 

Fee and Deposit: An enrollment fee of HK$300, plus a deposit of HK$700(covers main expenses for transportation, room and board, excursions, and basic travel insurance)
