Objectives
- To cultivate a sense of community service in Chung Chi students;
- To provide students with opportunities to get in touch with different segments of society, broadening their horizons, and strengthening their critical thinking on social issues; and
- To provide students with opportunities to further develop personal growth and enhance social skills through reflective journals, evaluation meetings, and discussions in seminars.
Eligibility
Students in 2024/25:
- In 3rd year of attendance or above (students with normative study period of 4 years or above)
- In 2nd year of attendance or above (students with normative study period of 3 years)
- No constraints to study year (students with normative study period of 2 years)

Themes of Service-Learning
- To understand the Philippines in multiple aspects: history, culture, economy, education, environment, and ethnicity.
- To foster cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship among students with a hands-on learning experience in an Asian context.
- To enable students to contribute to community development through service activities and enhance their personal and professional growth through reflection and self-assessment.

Fee and Deposit
HKD$5,800 (excluding flight ticket) | Deposit of HKD$3,000 is refundable upon completion of programme; in case of withdrawal from the programme, the deposit will not be refunded. Participants can be reimbursed 50% of the airfare (maximum HK$2,500).
