"Pause and ponder, as we depart…”

Launched in October 2014, Midday Oasis provides a breathing space for students, teachers and staff to refresh, relax and recover themselves with beautiful vocal and instrumental music during teaching periods of the university. Made possible by a very generous donation, the Chaplain’s Office had the privilege of bringing in overseas and local professional musicians, including players from the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, as well as nurturing The Oasis Singers, a vocal ensemble comprised of undergraduate music students from the Music Department, CUHK, to perform in Midday Oasis.

Concerts are held on every Monday, 1:30 pm - 1:55 pm at Chung Chi College Chapel during teaching weeks.
