To foster a sense of community, the Staff Club provides facilities, organizes various social activities, and offers numerous benefits as listed below:

1. Facilities

i. Staff Club Clubhouse

The Staff Club Clubhouse was built in 1967 and is now a Chinese restaurant. Opening hours are:

Mondays to Fridays: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Afternoon Tea: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)

Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ii. Orchid Lodge

The Orchid Lodge building was completed in 1956. The ground floor is now a coffee shop, with outdoor seating. Opening hours are:

Mondays to Fridays: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturdays: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sundays and Public Holidays: Closed

iii. Orchid Lodge Clubhouse

The Orchid Lodge Clubhouse is located on the upper floor, provides tea, newspapers and magazines. Access requires tapping the membership card. Opening hours are:

Mondays to Fridays (Teaching Period): 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mondays to Fridays (Non-Teaching Period): 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays: Closed

2. Benefits

i. Dining Discount

Staff Clubhouse: Tea and condiments charges are discounted and the 10% service charge is waived.

Orchid Lodge: 10% discount on selected lunch specials on workdays.

Horizon and All Route Inn at Hong Kong Science Park: 10% discount on regular-priced dim sum during lunch hours (please present membership card before seating); discounts on special days are suspended.

ii. Booking Discount
BBQ Site: 10% discount on booking fee.

iii. Health Screening Program Discount

3. Activities

The Cultural and Social Activities Committee regularly organizes various types of on-campus and outdoor activities, and members can participate at a discounted price. Cultural activities include interest classes such as Yoga, Ba Duan Jin and Ping Shuai Gong. The committee also arranges off-campus historical and cultural exploration activities. Social activities include various gatherings and celebrations, such as festive luncheons, children’s Christmas parties, and annual dinners, etc.
