2. David Au Wai Kwok Memorial Scholarship in Church Service


Established in memory of Mr. David Au Wai Kwok (歐偉國先生) in the 2025/26 academic year, one of the founders of Chung Chi College, David Au Wai Kwok Memorial Scholarship in Church Service 2025/26 is now open for applications. This scholarship is intended to recognize and support Chung Chi College undergraduates who demonstrate a strong commitment to church service and active involvement in church. 

 

Award:   David Au Wai Kwok Memorial Scholarship in Church Service (歐偉國教會服侍紀念獎學金) 2025/26

Award Amount (HK$) / Award Quota: 

 $20,000 each / 2

Target recipient and requirement:

Chung Chi Students

  1. Be a Chung Chi College undergraduate Christian student of any discipline, who demonstrates a strong commitment to church service and active participation in church.
  2. Submit a letter of recommendation from a church pastor.
  3. Achieve a minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.00 in 2025/26 Term 1.

3. TERMS AMENDMENT NOTICE FOR

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, AWARDS, PRIZES, AND FINANCIAL AID


Date: 5 June 2025

 

In accordance with the resolution passed by the Finance Committee of the Chung Chi College Board of Trustees, please be informed of the following amendments to the current Terms of Reference for College Scholarships, Awards, Prizes, and Financial Aid. These changes are made to ensure the sustainability of our financial support programs considering current economic conditions: 

 

Key Amendments

  1. Effective from the academic year 2024/2025, the College will no longer guarantee returns or cover any shortfalls for the funds.  
  2. In the event that the interest generated by the funds is insufficient to sustain the award amount, the principal will also be used to finance the award until the fund is exhausted.

 

Effective Date

These amendments will take effect on 30 August 2025.

Correspondence outlining these amendments and the revised Terms of Reference for College Scholarships, Awards, Prizes, and Financial Aid were sent to the donors and donor representatives in May 2025.
