Thinking that sanitary pads are costly and not eco-friendly? Interested in other eco-friendly alternatives? Want to gain a deeper understanding of menstrual knowledge and menstrual equity?

Don’t miss the “Work with Your Flow” eco-friendly cloth pad workshops on 26 and 27 February. They are co-organized by the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee and happeriod, a social enterprise that promotes period positivity in Hong Kong. happeriod will share:

• Relationship between menstrual products and sustainable development
• Eco-friendly menstrual products and how to make cloth pads for use
• Discussion on menstrual equity, social norms on menstruation, and gender issues in Hong Kong

The organic cloth pads made in the workshop are suitable for personal use or as a gift. You may also donate them to the underprivileged. The workshops are open to all Chung Chi students, regardless of sex and gender. Details are as follows:

Date: 26 Feb (Wed) and 27 Feb (Thu) [can participate in any one of the two]

Time: 5pm – 7:30pm

Fees: Chung Chi students — (Special Price) Material Fee HKD$70 + Deposit HKD$30
