Dear CC-Students,

Have you ever imagined that you could actually build a “playground”? Or have you considered that a playground can be a source of joy for children in developing countries? Now is your chance—become a Playground Builder!

The Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong University & College YMCA Department has been leading youth volunteers to construct playgrounds in the Philippines, Cambodia, Mongolia, Thailand, and Laos…etc since 2016. The Joint-U Playground Builder Project 10.0 is now recruiting members for the Playground Builder 10.0 team! Through this programme, you’ll have the opportunity to construct a playground in Mainland China or Southeast Asian countries, organise activities for children to broaden their horizons, and promote children’s right to play by building local handmade playgrounds. You'll also gain valuable social service experience, expand your social circle, foster friendships with students from other universities, and improve your communication and teamwork skills!

【Project Details】  

Purpose: Recruit tertiary students with passion for children service to promote children’s play right locally and globally

Period: Nov 2024 to Jul 2025

Eligibility: Full-time tertiary students aged 17 to 29 with valid University & College YMCA membership (Membership application is open all-year round. CLICK HERE for membership application.)
