This December, the University YMCA (CCC CUHK) will be organizing the Sri Lanka Cultural Exchange & Service Trip, leading Chung Chi students to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Through the trip, you will be able to visit local women’s organizations, learn about the challenges women face, and engage in cultural exchanges. The program will also include volunteer services, allowing students to contribute to the local community. Additionally, you will have the chance to ride on one of the world’s most beautiful trains, traversing stunning landscapes and historic sites along the way. Of course, the trip would not be complete without a visit to local tea plantations, where we will learn about the production of Ceylon tea, one of the world’s four great black teas.

👥Target: Full time Chung Chi Student with valid University YMCA membership

🗓️Date: 26/12/2024-5/1/2025 (Around 10-11 days)  

📍Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

💵Fee: $6,300 + $1,000 deposit*

*Fee includes air ticket, partial meals, accommodation, insurance, transportation & subsidies from YMCA and Chung Chi College.

**The deposit will be fully refunded upon completion of the program with satisfactory performance.
