Prize-winner at the Alaska International Piano E-Competition 2018 & the Maria Canals International Piano Competition 2019, KaJeng Wong received a commendation by the Hong Kong SAR Government and has been selected to represent Hong Kong at multiple international platforms. The featured documentary about his growth, “KJ: Music & Life”, was awarded Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards. In 2020, KJ’s debut CD, “Seasons of Life” was released under the Ginger Muse label with critical acclaim. In 2022, he released his second album, “God Pray Love”, and his third album “Mostly Bach, All Mozart” in 2024. As an Artistic Director of ‘Music Lab’, he built a creative hub where he can attempt for concerts of unconventional forms and ideas. As a creative platform, ‘Music Lab’ has grown its own festival, celebrating artists with creative thoughts and promoting cultural talents of Hong Kong.
KJ will perform Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in B♭ minor, Op. 35 in the upcoming Midday Oasis.
