Chung Chi College is organizing an exhibition “Amidst the Scenic Hills and Seashores: Ink Paintings and Calligraphy by Alfred Cheung and Wong Wai Ho”. Mr. Alfred Cheung (1973/ Sociology) and Mr. Wong Wai Ho (1971/ Accounting and Finance) have been passionate about art since childhood. Mr. Cheung, who loves painting, studied with Lingnan school painter Rong Shushi and is skilled in painting plum blossoms. Mr. Wong, who is enthusiastic about calligraphy, has received widespread acclaim for his work, and he has picked up his passion for painting again in recent years. 

Despite their busy schedules, the two continued to engage in their artistic pursuit. This exhibition features the solo and collaborative works of the two artists, with a starting point in the panorama and objects of the scenic Chung Chi and spans a range of subjects, including flowers and birds, landscapes of different places, insights on life, inviting viewers to perceive a refreshing ambiance and the pleasure of life through their brushwork.

The exhibition is also a fundraising activity for the College’s Block E Redevelopment Project (Project E), which aims to build more diverse functional spaces for teachers, students, and alumni and to promote the exchange of talents across disciplines. Donation of a fixed amount to Project E will be acknowledged with an exhibition artwork as a gift. The donation method will be announced soon.
