Happy New Year of the Dragon! Midday Oasis concerts are returning to campus after the Lunar New Year holidays. On February 19, the multi-talented composer, conductor, vocalist Daniel Lau & Sunny Lai (Pianist) will bring you a concert of Gospel Music. The duo will bring you gospel hits including ‘Shackles (Praise You), ‘I Love the Lord’, ‘Goodness of Lord’, ‘Up Where We Belong’ & more. On February 26, Professor Fung Tung (Pipa) will perform masterpieces on his Pipa. Program includes Chaozhou Folk Music ‘The Crow Plays by the Water in Winter’, ‘Sounds From the Chen and Sui Dynasties’, Jiangnan Silk and Bamboo Music ‘San Liu (Three Six)’, and four ancient tunes of Yingzhou: ‘The Rising Moon’, ‘Fishes Playing in the Water’, ‘The Dragonfly Touching the Water’ and ‘Lions Rolling the Embroidered Ball’.
